Handmade Glass Tiles

SOLD

My handmade glass tiles are made by painting several colors of enamel paint and powdered and crushed glass (frit) onto glass. Each tile is made individually and requires multiple layers of opaque and transparent paint to create a painting made entirely out of glass. The tiles are fired multiple times, some have required up to seven firings to create a painting that is illusionist and shows real depth. Some of the tiles, I combine the Sgraffito method with enamel paint to create a tile that has a drawing and painting appearance.

My YL Handmade Glass Tile collection comes in two sizes: 5 x 7 and 6 x 9 and each is numbered and made to be collectable for the glass enthusiast. My Farm Animal Sanctuary Tile series features an animal from a local farm sanctuary and tells their story about how they were saved and now live a life in peace and are being well cared for. My Wildlife Bird Tile series features various birds local to the New England area.

Each tile is mounted and framed and ready to be hung on the wall.
